400 for milliliters, 500Max for liters
Both turn from 3000 to 15,000 rpm in steps of 500. The HZ-400 (90 W) carries heads from 250 mL to 1 L, with a stated immersion of 40 to 190 mm and a 24 hour timer; the HZ-500Max (300 W) covers 2 to 5 L, with a temperature display and under 60 dB stated, on a double pole.
What each one ships with
The 400 includes the Ø14 head for 500 mL (Ø12 and Ø16 optional); the 500Max, the Ø22 for 3 L (Ø18 and Ø25 optional). Between these and the floor-standing HZ-300, the choice is working volume.
