It compares the four configurations of the family with the maximum plate temperature of each one and then moves on to the unit in use: fitting the support rod into the hole in the chassis, connecting the temperature probe and setting temperature and speed —by knob on the HS-5C, by buttons on the HS-5Pro—. Three sizes by three tiers
The 5 carries a round Ø135 mm plate (2 L); the 6, a square 135 × 135 (2 L); the 8, a square 160 × 160 at 5 L. Each size comes in three tiers: base with a knob, C with a display, and Pro adding a 1 minute to 12 hour timer.
The plate ceiling rises with the letter
The base units state 260 °C of plate (280 on the 8); the C, 280 to 310; the Pro, 310. C and Pro add stated accuracy of ±1 °C in liquid and ±3 °C at the plate, and power runs from 200 to 500 W.
The plate material changes too
The base HS-5 carries a ceramic-coated stainless steel plate; the rest of the family, ceramic-coated aluminum alloy.
